About Wavelength Studio · South Park, San Diego

Tomas Reyes and Ines Alvarado run one studio in South Park with a sprung floor, four reformers and a flat roof you can get fourteen mats onto. Tomas has taught yoga for eleven years; Ines is a certified reformer instructor who also teaches the mobility hour, which is the least glamorous thing on the timetable and the one people keep coming back to.

Everything here is capped by how many people one teacher can actually watch — fourteen on the roof, twelve on the floor, eight on the machines. That is the only reason the classes are the size they are, and it is why we would rather add a class than a mat.

What none of this is: treatment. Nobody here diagnoses anything, gives an opinion on a scan, or tells you what your body is doing. If something hurts you want a physiotherapist, and we will say so rather than work around it.
