What you leave with

A complete zero-waste household kit — soap, cleaners, dish blocks and food wraps

Circular living and eco-formulation: cold-process botanical soaps with farm goat milk, non-toxic household cleaners, solid dish blocks and beeswax wraps.

Lye is handled properly and safely from the first session, with goggles and a scale, because saponification is chemistry rather than a craft activity.

What you cover, in rotation

The group works through these in order and then begins again on fresh ground. Join at whatever stage it is on — nothing here assumes you were there for the last one, and nothing runs out — or drop in for a single session if that is all you can manage.

  1. Stage 1Cold-Process Soapmaking & Saponification Chemistry
    • Lye calculations, oil fatty acid profiles and safe handling.
    • Formulating with organic olive, coconut and raw shea butter.
    • Blending, pouring and insulating a batch of gentle castile soap.
    • Natural colour swirls with French clays and spirulina.
  2. Stage 2Goat Milk & Botanical Scrub Bars
    • Temperature control for incorporating fresh farm milk without scorching.
    • Ground walnut shells, calendula petals and raw oats as exfoliants.
    • Creating rich goat milk bars.
    • Wire-cutting cured loaves into uniform artisan bars.
  3. Stage 3Non-Toxic Household Cleaners & Laundry Formulations
    • Replacing synthetic surfactants with plant-derived minerals and enzymes.
    • Probiotic multi-surface spray, citrus vinegar extracts and mineral laundry powder.
    • Custom scent blending with pure essential oils.
    • Bottling in reusable amber glass with waterproof labels.
  4. Stage 4Solid Dish Bars, Beeswax Food Wraps & Eco Showcase
    • Formulating concentrated solid degreasing dish blocks.
    • Infusing organic cotton with pine rosin, jojoba oil and local beeswax.
    • Stamping bars and wrapping in seed paper.
    • Taking home a complete zero-waste household kit.

4 sessions in the cycle, then it begins again on new ground.
