What you leave with

A continuous run linking a heel-side cut, a wake jump and a surface spin

Progressive coaching on the calm water of Mission Bay with a dedicated tow boat, pro ballast and headset audio coaching. Four to five riders per boat, so nobody sits watching.

The rotation opens on getting up without fighting the rope and closes on linking three moves into one run, which is the point at which it stops being lessons and starts being riding.

What you cover, in rotation

The group works through these in order and then begins again on fresh ground. Join at whatever stage it is on — nothing here assumes you were there for the last one, and nothing runs out — or drop in for a single session if that is all you can manage.

  1. Stage 1Deep Water Starts & Getting on Plane
    • Binding setup, stance width, and regular against goofy foot.
    • Letting the boat pull you up instead of fighting the tow rope.
    • Balance, bent knees, and riding comfortably on plane in the wake.
  2. Stage 2Heel-Side & Toe-Side Edge Control
    • Smooth heel-side carve turns outside the wake.
    • Toe-side edges, chest posture and handle position at the hip.
    • Cutting across both wakes at a consistent speed.
  3. Stage 3Wake Jumps, Air Timing & Soft Landings
    • Progressive edge loading into the wake ramp.
    • Pop mechanics: extending at the wake crest for controlled airtime.
    • Absorbing landings in the transition zone with soft knees.
  4. Stage 4Surface 180s, Switch Stance & Capstone Line
    • Surface 180 spins, frontside and backside, and butter slides.
    • Riding switch stance comfortably.
    • Linking a heel-side cut, a wake jump and a surface spin in one run.

4 sessions in the cycle, then it begins again on new ground.
