The Workbench

Ruben Salas ran a cabinet shop for eleven years and could not find anywhere in the city to send the people who kept asking to watch. The Workbench is twelve benches, a machine room and a dust extractor that cost more than the van.

Members hire a bench by the month. The classes exist because the machines sit idle on Thursdays and Saturdays, and because the question that gets asked at the door every week is whether somebody could just be shown how.
