Bay & Board started as a rack of boards on Simone Farr's driveway and a standing arrangement with anybody who wanted to be on the water before work. The repair side came later and for the obvious reason: everybody who paddles long enough eventually needs it.
The sunrise sessions go out from Mission Bay because it is the only water in the city reliably flat at six in the morning. The repair class runs in the shop, on your own board, and you go home with it fixed rather than with a quote.
